HISTORY

17th Cent. A bell was cast by Thomas Palmar ?II later (or at the time) forming the middle bell of the 3.
1655 Present treble cast.
1705 Present 2nd cast. At the time it represented the tenor of a ring of 3, each bell with an interval of a semitone.
1887 The middle bell was scrapped and a new tenor was cast by Mears & Stainbank which was a tone below the existing tenor. Thus a diatonic ring was formed.
