c 1550 Bell cast by William Oldfield (later treble of 4).
1628 3rd (of 4) cast by Joseph Hatch. These were a minor 4.
1708 Tenor recast by Matthew Bagley.
1758 Record of 4 bells in the tower. [1]
1821 Treble (of 4) recast by Thomas Mears.
1912 2nd and 3rd (of 4) recast and treble added to turn the minor 4 into a diatonic 5, all the bells were retuned and rehung by Mears & Stainbank in a new timber frame for six bells.
1935 Treble added to make 6 by Mears & Stainbank.
1999 Tower reopened after a few years following restoration to the stonework.
[1] This Church is very neat, and consists of the Great and North Chancells, The Body, and The North Isle. In an Handsome Tower, at the W.End of The Body, are 4 Bells, thus inscribed. 1*. Ihe Sancta Maria. 2. Joseph Hatch made Me. 1628. 3. No Inscription. 4**. Math. Bagley of London, Fecit. Steven Church, Tho. Morris, Church Wardens. *This Bell has the Impression of Both Sides of a Groat of Henry 8 impressd upon it, as also The Prince’s Feathers, and Motto, viz. ICH DIEN. **This Bell has no Date; but appears to be a new one. (Rev’d Bryan Faussett, 1758)

The Treble - note the rough-hewn stay - the stays of the 1, 4 and 5 are all like this, and seem to be made from pine rather than ash.
