History

1552 Record of 2 bells. [1]
1863 Both bells recast and third added by John Warner.
1889 Bells rehung in a new frame and 2 trebles added to make 5 by Gillett & Co.
1901 20th October Steeple dedicated.
1951 Bells retuned and rehung by Gillett & Johnston in existing frame (unsuccessfully). Canons retained on 3rd, 4th, 5th.
1966 Bells rehung in the existing frame by Mears & Stainbank.
1987 Bells recast by Whitechapel and rehung by the Kent CACR. The bells were rededicated on 11th April.
