History

1385 -1418 Present 3rd and 4th cast by William Dawe.
1511 Tenor cast by John Tonne.
1552 Record of 3 bells in the tower. [1]
c 1887 Stahlschmidt recorded 3 bells in the tower, saying that there used to be 4.
1903 Old 3 bells tuned and 3 bells added by John Taylor.
1998 A loose gudgeon on the 3rd was repaired by John Taylor, who also replaced the bearings.
2000 The bearings on bells 4, 5 and 6 were replaced by John Taylor.
[1] Item iij bells of brass suted in the steple and one saincts bell of brasse and ij hand bells for procession, and a sacryng bell of bras. (Edwardian Inventory, 1552)
