How the bells are tuned

History

1868 Church built.
1875 Parish created from that of St Nicholas, Chislehurst.
1915 Bell cast by John Warner & Sons and hung in the open gable.
1930 Tower built.
1932 Bell cast by Gillett & Johnston, destined to be one of an octave before the order was stopped.
1933 Clock bell supplied by Smith of Derby.
1935 Ring of 8 cast around the Gillett bell (which forms the 5th) by John Taylor.
