History

1728 Ring of 6 cast by Samuel Knight.
1758 Record of 6 bells in the tower. [1]
1903 Bells quarter turned and rehung with strengthened framework and new fittings by Mears & Stainbank.
1904 4th April Bells rededicated.
2003 Bells out of action for much of the year while extensive repairs took place on the tower.
[1] This Church, which is large and neat, consists of The Chancell, Body, and 2 Side Isles. The Tower is very roomy, and pretty high, and stands at the West End; in it are 6 Bells, thus inscribed. 1.
