History

1631 3 bells cast by Joseph Hatch, destined to form 4,5,6 of a ring of 6.
1746 2 bells cast by Thomas Lester, forming 2,3 of 6.
1759 Treble cast by Lester & Pack.
1891 A new treble and tenor added by Mears & Stainbank, and the 4th was recast a semitone flatter. Bells rehung in a two tier anticlockwise frame.
1961 Bells rung again after many years of silence.
1982 June Bells removed by members of the K.C.A. and stored at Whitechapel.
1986 Old treble had been sold to Brimpsfield, Glos. New bell cast a semitone sharper and another treble cast. Old 5th recast a semitone sharper and tenor scrapped. Bells rehung in new clockwise frame. They were tried out on 20th Feb and dedicated on 10th Mar 1986.
