History

1098 Prior Ernulf put a bell in the Campanile, later adding 4 smaller ones.
1160 Prior Wybert add a sixth bell to Campanile.
1316 Prior Henry placed another bell in the Campanile named "Thomas".
1382 The Campanile was damaged in an earthquake.
1541 Priory dissolved and campanile bells forfeited to Crown.
1650 In mid 17th Century, the campanile was demolished.
