History

1839 Tower built.
1844 Ring of 6 cast by Charles & George Mears.
1908 Tenor recast by Mears & Stainbank. The bells were rather big for the tower. The tenor was said to hit the wall!
1957 All 6 bells recast by Mears & Stainbank.
1958 The recast bells hung in a new frame by Mears & Stainbank.
