History

1552 Record of 3 bells. [1]
1620 Tenor recast or added by John Wilnar.
1732 Treble (of 5) recast or added by Richard Phelps.
1789 4th (of 5) recast.
1888 Treble added by John Warner to make 6.
1925 Record of Gillett & Johnston inspecting the bells.
1926 2nd recast by Mears & Stainbank. The cracked tenor was welded (presumably by Barrimar). Its canons and cast in staple were removed by Mears, and the bell was rehung. All the bells were retuned.
1937 The tenor became cracked again, which did not please the church, so they had it recast by John Taylor, who retuned ALL the bells again!
