History

1884 The foundation stone of the new school was laid. It was provided with a bell dated the previous year, which suggests that it was probably a stock bell.
2006 The clapper had fallen out of the bell, so the KCACR repaired it. A local engineering firm refurbished the fittings and a new clapper was fitted.
