History

1609 -1611 New ring of 5 cast by Joseph Hatch and hung in a new frame.
1620 Tenor recast by Joseph Hatch.
1911 Tenor recast and bells rehung with new steel headstocks.
1914 New treble added and bells rehung on girder headstocks by Alfred Bowell to make 6 bells. [1]
1938 Bells rehung in a new metal frame by John Taylor & Co. largely using the fittings from 1911/14 (although new ball bearings were provided). The bells did not leave the church.
1955 2nd recast by Mears & Stainbank.
[1] To new treble bell fixed complete £46-10-0. Paid cq. 20 Oct 1914. (Bowell records, 11 Sept, 1914)
