Round flint tower built. A 50' shingled spire was later added.

1514

A tenor bell was added to the existing bells

1694

Bells rehung by John Gay.

1695

11th Oct.

The decayed spire collapsed and the church and bells survived.

1697

Tower rebuilt and bells rehung.

1741

A bell was added by Robert Catlin.

1753

1 or more bells sold.

1798

There is a record of 4 bells in the tower, although these were probably not all present after a sale in 1753.

1866

Present tower built by E. L. Blackburne, the gift of William Hall of Syndale.

1891

Ring of 8 cast by John Taylor to replace the single bell.

1924

Repairs to the bells were undertaken.
