5th (of 6) recast and 2 trebles were added to make 8 and the bells were rehung by Alfred Bowell.

To rehanging the 6 bells £130. New ropes £7-10-0. To two new bells complete £125. Extra for metal , ropes, etc., £10. Inscriptions cast on the new bells 270 letters @ 4d each £4-10-0. Bells rung again after a break of almost 20 years. During that time, there were unsubstantiated rumours that the tower was not strong enough for the bells to be rung. This was proved otherwise following interest from a new incumbant.
