HISTORY

1552 Record of 3 bells in the tower.
1727 Tenor recast by Richard Phelps.
1857 Middle bell recast by Charles & George Mears. The bells were rehung in a new fir frame, with new fittings provided for the new bell and the tenor.
1874 Treble recast by John Warner & Sons.
1999 The tenor was welded by Soundweld. The bells were retuned and rehung dead with Ellacombe Apparatus by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, with site work carried out by the Kent C.A.
