Bell fittings refurbished by John Taylor and Co. and rehung by the Kent CACR. The staple was drilled out; the medieval clapper received a new top end; the headstock, gudgeons and bearings were replaced with the refurbished 1887/1935 Warner/Mears ones from Hernhill 7th: the only new items are the independent crown staple and the chiming lever ! |
