Bell recorded as being supplied to "Penshurst Mission Church" by Gillett & Johnston.

1904

St Luke's, Chiddingstone Causeway built with a large tower to accommodate a ring of bells. The bells were never installed and the Mission Church bell was transferred here at some point to hang on the floor of the vast belfry in its small frame.

The Gillett bell in a braced centre posted frame (!) hanging in the middle of the vast belfry. Stonework can be seen in the tower where the bellframe is designed to hang.
