Present 2nd cast. The bells were rehung in a new 2-tier frame for 4 bells: 2 above and 2 below (with the treble pit empty).

Bells overhauled during the 19th Century.

1903

Bell cast by Samuel Goslin for St Margaret's, Canterbury.

1959

The 3 bells were last run by the King's School for the visit of the Archbishop.

1968

June

Bells taken out by Mears & Stainbank.

1968

November

The treble of St Margaret's, Canterbury was given to the church and taken down to the Whitechapel Bell Foundry by the KCACR.

1969

December

The 4 bells were tuned, refitted with stationary Ellacombe fittings & rehung by Whitechapel. They were hung in the upper 2 pits of the 4-bell frame. This was the first job done by the KCACR in conjunction with the foundry under Harry Parkes' direction.

Taken out by Bill Theobald in June, 1968, the Belyetere tenor is on its way to Mears & Stainbank. Rehung, and a "tight fit", the old three plus treble from St Margaret's in the top tier of the 4-bell frame.
