Three moulding wires below the shoulder, one above the soundbow curve and two above the lip. "Continental", angled internal soundbow.

HISTORY

mid-13th Cent Bell cast, founder unknown. George Elphick, Ranald Clouston and David Cawley agree on a mid-13th century date.
1887 Stahlschmidt records 1 bell and that Mr Faussett noted "two bells without inscription".
1150 The famous Norman church was built.
1844 The bell was reported as being in a turret at the west end of the church.
c.1900 Bell moved to its present position in a yew tree in the church yard.
